SNECI Nominated To Manage Supply-chain From China To Slovakia

As part of the services proposed by its Purchasing & Supply Chain Business Unit, SNECI proposes to optimize and manage logistics flows between suppliers and their customers.

SNECI has been nominated by an Asian supplier delivering parts to a European customer. This project is particularly complex given the nature of the parts: big aesthetical parts that create additional supply constraints on packaging, handling and the number of containers managed per year.

SNECI proposed several potential scenarios to improve the logistics performance of the project, in particular regarding the packaging. SNECI then selected the most optimized flow for this project, delivering a warehouse in Slovakia, before acting as the representative of the Asian supplier to manage the warehouse services and customer relationship. SNECI is also in charge of managing the invoices flow, quite complex given the number of references managed.

We see more and more companies asking SNECI to act as their representative to manage their logistic including the transportation, consignment stock and invoices management as well as customer daily relationship. We believe that this activity will greatly increase in the future”, says Stanislas Bailly, Managing Director at SNECI. “Working with SNECI reassures both the supplier and the customer, as we are specialized in managing such complex projects and improving the communication.
