The Russian Automotive Sector Should Be Back On Growth Track By 2018

“The Russian automotive sector should be back on growth track by 2018”, says Isabelle Bailly.

The Chairman of SNECI, whose Russian subsidiary was set up in 2014, comments on the challenges and objectives of the Russian automotive sector in the March issue of BizMag, a quarterly magazine dedicated to French-Russian business issued in partnership with the French-Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

For foreign carmakers and suppliers wishing to establish operations in Russia the challenge is twofold: on the one hand, the Russian government has set local content requirements and on the other hand, world class carmakers and suppliers are bound to comply with safety, quality, reliability and environmental protection levels anywhere in the world where their manufacturing plants are located. In such a context, SNECI brings its expertise to help suppliers present on the Russian market meet the required levels with regard to their international customers’ technical specs as well as economic and quality targets.
