Morocco – Industrial hub for the automotive industry

Oct. 2015 – In 2015 PSA Peugeot Citroën announced to invest EUR 557 Mio. in the construction of its new production plant in Morocco in the province of Kenitra. From 2019 on PSA will produce B and C segment vehicles and engines in this plant.

In the framework of the PSA Supplier Convention organized as kick-off meeting for this future plant, SNECI has been present in order to convince its partners to realize important investments and to accompany them in the settlement of a branch office in Morocco. In the coming years Morocco will be a strategic location to deliver OEMs based in Maghreb and Southern Europe.
