Maxime BONITEAU
International Development VP
Maxime BONITEAU joined SNECI as an International Business Development Director in 2019.
After graduating from “Ponts et Chaussees” in 1984 and ESSEC in 1986, Maxime joined group Total as an Industrial Projects Manager in China.
From 1990 to 1995, he was working for Ciments Français in France first as Africa and Middle East M&A manager and later managing the Sands & Gravel subsidiary in Ile-de-France.
In 1996, he went back to China where he joined Magneti Marelli and took over the administration of the Guangzhou JV. In 1999, he became CEO of the company’s subsidiary in China and its 4 production sites in electronics and control engines.
Between 2001 and 2014, he worked for Renault in Product roles in Paris, then in Quality and Projects in Iran, where Renault was launching 4 industrial sites at that time. In 2008, he moved to Russia as Head of Vehicle Programs, Strategy, and Renault-Nissan-Avtovaz partnership. He was in charge of renegotiating the local law supporting the automotive sector with the Russian authorities. At the end of 2012, he moved to Wuhan to restructure a former subsidiary of Renault and direct the group’s relaunch in China.
In 2014 Maxime founded the company BeSpare (Switzerland) to contribute to the development of relations between Europe and the Middle East.
In 2022, he was appointed Vice President International Development.
